Head south from Red Lodge on the Beartooth Highway and you’ll soon come across Beartooth Basin Summer Ski Area, which operates in the summer months (weather permitting) and offers two high-speed platter lifts to access 600 acres of skiing terrain that vary in pitch from 15 degrees to 50 degrees.
