Description
10 - 11 AM: Gather at the American Legion Prairie Post #32, 112 Logan Ave, Terry, MT, to caravan to the headstone. Coffee and donuts will be served.
11 AM: The caravan leaves for the grave site. It is a 7 mile drive from the Am Legion to the grave site. The road is primitive; a high-clearance vehicle is strongly recommended.
11:30 AM - 12 PM: Ceremony, the band will play various songs from the 1876 era, including "Garryowen" and "Taps". Honor guard provided by the American Legion Prairie Post #32.
12 PM: Return to Terry, lunch will be provided at the Cameron Gallery. (Hamburgers, salads, and desserts)
1:30 - 2 PM: Stan Taylor will speak about Colonel Custer and Private William George at the American Legion.
