It's Fee-Free Day! Enjoy access to U.S. National Parks, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Fish & Wildlife Service (FWS), and Forest Service lands with standard entrance and amenity fees waived. This covers access to visitor centers, trailheads, and picnic areas, but not special activity fees like camping, tours, or permits.
Note: A Montana Conservation License is required for everyone age 12 and older to access most state lands, including wildlife management areas, fishing access sites, and wildlife habitat protection areas, and all types of recreation—launching watercraft, hiking, biking, wildlife viewing, etc.
